Leeds United new signing Robbie Rogers is determined to make a success of Championship football after giving up the comforts of Major League Soccer with Columbus Crew.
The 24 year old USA international told the club's official website:
"I've spent the past week or so working on my fitness levels and trying to get my work permit sorted, which will hopefully happen because I'm very excited to get going.
"I had opportunities to stay in the MLS, which would have been very comfortable, but I've grown up watching European soccer and this is the time to take that chance and test myself as a player and a person.
"This is a great challenge and I'm ready for it. I hope I can contribute offensively and defensively." "I felt very comfortable, the facilities are excellent and things were worked out for me to come back.
