Leeds United's Taylor keen on Millwall stay

Maik Taylor says he would be open to a permanent move to Millwall if the opportunity arose.

The 40-year old goalkeeper has made seven appearances for the Lions since joining on loan from Leeds United in March and after helping the club to Championship survival, is looking to stay put in Southeast London.

"If staying is an option for me, then I will speak with the manager and see what is open for me," he said.

"I'm just grateful for the opportunity and if it goes beyond the season, then it's fantastic.

"I thought I was coming in to put some pressure on the other keeper and the manager has given me an opportunity. Things have gone well, so hopefully that will continue."
