Kalvin Phillips has to wait to get an offer of a new contract at Leeds United.

The Yorkshire native was linked to Manchester United in the British media recently.

However, further reports stated he would turn down the Red Devils, due to his affinity with Leeds.

According toDaily Star, Phillips will only get a new contract offer at Leeds if they remain in the Premier League.

Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani wants Phillips to stay, but will wait until June when the club's future is clear before making an offer.

Phillips is happy to stay at Leeds, and wants to commit the best years of his career to the Elland Road club.
