Championship club Leeds United have signed Finland international Mika Vayrynen on a free transfer.
The 29-year old Swedish-born midfielder has signed a one-year deal with the Whites after leaving Dutch club Heerenveen at the end of last season.
The signing of Vayrynen, who has represented Finland on more than 50 occasions, has delighted Simon Grayson who has his Leeds side sitting 13th in England's second tier.
"We're delighted to sign Mika," he told the club's official website.
"There were good offers from other clubs on the continent, but he has turned them down because of his ambition to play for Leeds and be successful here.
"He's an experienced midfielder, who has won over 50 caps for his country, and he has a fantastic pedigree. He has played with PSV and he had a successful season at Hereenveen last season.
"He can play as an attacking midfielder or as a holding midfielder and he's delighted to get the opportunity to come here."
