Leeds receive increased allocation for Wednesday trip

Leeds United have been allocated 4,300 tickets for their last Championship away game of the season at Sheffield Wednesday on April 25, reports the Yorkshire Post. Keeper Chris Kirkland was struck by a Leeds supporter who ran onto the pitch after United equalised in a fractious 1-1 draw in October 2012.

The Elland Road outfit were subsequently limited to 3,100 seats in the upper tier of Leppings Lane for their 6-0 defeat to Wednesday last season but United announced on Monday that they will receive more than 4,000 tickets for this month's derby.

The fixture has already been moved from a 3pm kick-off to a 12.30pm start on police advice.
