Leeds United short term hire Sam Allardyce will continue at Elland Road for next season.

That is if the club's first team squad have their way, as they are fond of the veteran coach's methods.

Per The Sun, Allardyce did impress at Leeds, despite being unable to get them to survive in the Premier League.

Heading for the Championship next season, Leeds may think Allardyce's experience would stand them in good stead.

However, the club is in the process of being bought by the owners of the San Francisco 49ers NFL franchise.

If the sale goes through, the new owners may want to install their own manager.
