Leeds United chief Nicola Salerno is shopping in Italy to boost their midfield.
While he waits for an answer from Sassuolo striker Leonardo Pavoletti over a switch to Elland Road, Salerno is now in contact with Palermo for Granddi Ngoyi.
The Rosanero are considering making the midfielder available for January, though he is currently part of Beppe Iachini's first team squad.
Along with Leeds, Apoel Nicosia have also asked Palermo for Ngoyi in recent days.
Ngoyi is a France U21 international and came through the system at PSG.
