Leeds midfielder Phillips: We're aware survival not yet secured

Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips insists everyone at the club is aware of the challenges ahead.

The Elland Road club are in a positive position thanks to their 3-0 win over Watford in the Premier League this weekend.

Raphinha, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison got the goals for Leeds, who are now nine points clear of the relegation places.

However, Phillips is not saying "job done" just yet.

"I think the target was awful to survive in the Premier, we don't really speak about if we are going to go down or if there is a chance of that happening," the 25-year-old told LUTV.

"We are always confident and I don't think we should speak about that there is a chance we could go down, but we know we have important games to come towards the end of the season.

"We just need to do better than those teams around us and hopefully we can finish off the season well."
