Newcastle United midfielder Mehdi Abeid is expected to be on the move this week.
Doncaster Rovers have joined Leeds United in the race to snap up Abeid, 19, on loan until the end of the season.
Toon boss Alan Pardew is keen for Abeid to gain first team experience away from St James' Park.
