Empoli goalkeeper Davide Bassi is attracting interest from the UK.

TMW says Bassi is expected to leave Empoli this month - and could also depart Italy.

Leeds United and Cardiff City are in contact with Empoli to register their interest and seek permission to open talks with Bassi.

Bassi, 29, is in his eighth year with Empoli and is also interesting Bologna.
