Lee on target for Bolton as Neill's Doncaster crash out of Championship

Lee Chung-yong opened the scoring for Bolton as they finished the Championship season with a 2-2 draw at home.

The South Korean winger fired home in the 57th minute to give the Trotters the lead over Birmingham City who required at least a point to give themselves hope of avoiding relegation.

Lee scored only his second goal of the season in last week's 3-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday and managed to end the campaign with three league goals when rocketing home after a free-kick was deflected his way by David Wheater.

Lukas Jutkiewicz added a second for Wanderers in the 76th minute which had Birmingham's season hanging by a thread but thankfully for the Brum, Nikola Zigic and Paul Caddis saved the day with late goals.

The draw saved Birmingham's skins as they were able to finish 21st in the 24-team Championship, ahead of Doncaster Rovers on goal difference, after the South Yorkshire were beaten 1-0 by champions Leicester City.

Australian veteran Lucas Neill, on loan from Watford, played 84 minutes in defence before being replaced by Harry Forrester.

New Zealand international Chris Wood was an unused sub for Leicester as the Foxes finished the season for Thai owners King Power International with a home victory.
