Lazio president Claudio Lotito is waiting for Chelsea to make a decision on manager Roberto di Matteo.
Lotito has made the Chelsea boss his top target to replace Edy Reja, who left the Rome club last week.
The Lazio president also is keen on Di Matteo's ex-Chelsea teammate Gianfranco Zola, but it is the former who has jumped to the top of his shortlist after Saturday's Champions League triumph.
Despite the Euro success, Di Matteo is expected to be shown the door by Abramovich before the weekend.
