Lazio have expressed interest in Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez. Chicharito is currently on a season-long loan at Real Madrid, where he has failed to establish himself as a first-choice under coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Mexico's JuanFútbol.com reports Lazio have made contact with United about taking over Hernandez's loan for the remainder of the season.
Lazio chief Igli Tare is in talks with United about an agreement which would include a permanent option for the end of the season.
If terms cannot be struck, Lazio will return to United in the summer for Chicharito.
