Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti has enjoyed the first weeks of preseason under new coach Stefano Pioli.

Pioli has succeeded Edy Reja as coach this summer.

"Pioli is a Coach who favours dialogue with his players. He's a great communicator," Marchetti told Lazio Style Radio.

"He asked us goalkeepers precise questions too, as he wants to see a team that has initiative. He asked us to play the ball to feet and we're working on that too."
