Lazio are interested in Benfica striker Javier Saviola.

The former Real Madrid and Barcelona attacker is being linked with Lazio as he prepares to leave Lisbon.

Having signed Miroslav Klose on a Bosman from Bayern Munich in the summer and been rewarded with goals galore, Lazio are keen to repeat the trick with Saviola, who is off contract in June.
