Lazio have made a move for departing Manchester City midfielder David Silva.
AS says Lazio are busy searching for players who can add experience to their team and have made contact with Silva.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has been scouring the market for a player capable of raising the level of experience in Simone Inzaghi's team and Silva would be the perfect addition.
An agreement between Silva and Lazio is very close to being struck with both sides keen to get a deal over the line.
Silva, 34, also has interest from Al-Ahli and Al-Nasr in Dubai but Lazio can offer him Champions League football having qualified for the first time since 2007-08.
