Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic jumped to the defence of AS Roma counterpart Zdenek Zeman after victory yesterday.

Petkovic remained respectful to Zeman after the game.

"Without doubt Zeman was and is a legend. The result of one game cannot change my opinion on him.

"On paper this match was dangerous, especially as we were coming off a 4-0 defeat to Catania and needed the derby to get back on track."
