Lazio are chasing Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

The former Bordeaux forward has struggled to adjust to Premier League life after an impressive early start to the season.

The Daily Star Sunday says Lazio are planning to bid for Chamakh in the summer - and have their sights on another England-based striker.

Cardiff City's former Perugia hitman Jay Bothroyd, off contract in June, is also wanted by Lazio.
