Lazio ace Ciro Immobile was delighted after their victory over Fiorentina on Monday night.

Lazio won 4-0, with Immobile on the scoresheet.

He later said: "The game we express makes our fans happy: it's beautiful and makes us proud. I hope to see many on the pitch on Thursday to prove our worth in the Europa League.

"The goal? It is thanks to the magic of 'Sergio' (Milinkovic-Savic): it was not necessary to have a great sense of position. It was perfect, it just had to be pushed into the net.

"The all-time ranking of scorers in Serie A? I'm happy just for the names I read in that ranking. It means I'm doing something nice with this shirt.

"Close with Lazio? For my career I can say that I changed a few teams at the beginning of the path. Then I found my dimension: here I felt important and I think Lazio deserves all of myself. I am proud to be the captain and to carry on these colors. Both (Simone) Inzaghi and (Maurizio) Sarri, then, have always appreciated me also as a man and this is important.
