Lazio boss Stefano Pioli was thrilled with their performance in victory over Fiorentina.
Lazio thrashed Fiorentina 4-0 with Miroslav Klose grabbing a brace.
"It was a perfect evening. Actually, there's no such thing as a perfect performance in football, so let's say almost perfect," Pioli told Sky Sport Italia.
"The team interpreted the game well and it was a show of maturity from my lads. They passed the test against a side with a lot of quality like Fiorentina.
"We have to face everyone with this spirit, so numbers or systems mean nothing compared to spirit. We are satisfied, but also aware there's a long road ahead.
"Can we challenge for second place? The table is very tight up there, so we have to take it one game at a time."
