Lazio coach Stefano Pioli hailed two-goal Felipe Anderson after their 2-0 win over Torino.
Anderson struck both goals as Lazio consolidated third place.
Pioli said: "In the first half he didn't have much freedom of movement and I didn't like his performance, but he did very well after the break.
"Torino closed up and in these balanced encounters you need the moment of magic from an individual. Felipe Anderson is an excellent player and can do a lot better, so he needs to go through this growth process at Lazio.
"I recall Cristiano Ronaldo's career path and he became a great player thanks also to difficult moments, just like Felipe Anderson.
"I think with this humility he can become unmarkable for opponents."
