Sebastian Larsson could save Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce from spending in the transfer market thanks to his versatility.
"He always gives you that option and in pre-season you can go and try a few things," said Bruce. "When he caught my eye for Arsenal it was against us at left-back. He played there at QPR last season as well.
"We all know the kid's versatile, he can play anywhere - left, right, in the middle. He's just a very good footballer."
