Frank Lampard could make Manchester City's starting XI against Chelsea on Sunday.
The Telegraph says Lampard is in contention to make his home debut for Manchester City against former club Chelsea on Sunday.
The 36-year-old, who ended his ten-year stint at Stamford Bridge when his contract was not renewed at the end of last season, is currently on loan at the Etihad Stadium after agreeing a deal to play for MLS franchise New York City FC.
Despite long-running suggestions that the former England player has asked not to be selected against Chelsea, senior figures at City have insisted that no such request has been made and that Lampard will be available for selection against the Premier League leaders.
