Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has held talks with Rangers about returning to management.
The former England midfielder has been out of a permanent position since his sacking at Everton midway through last season.
Lampard, who also coached Chelsea and Derby County, did work as Chelsea's interim coach last term.
Per the Daily Record, Lampard has spoken with officials from Rangers about working in Scotland.
There are, however, other managers also in the running for the post at the Ibrox Stadium club.
Lampard would follow in the footsteps of England midfielder Steven Gerrard, who won the league at Rangers as a manager.
