Lampard fancies ex-Liverpool star Wijnaldum for Everton; Wolves and West Ham also keen

Former Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum is being lined up for a return to the Premier League.

The Dutchman endured a difficult first season with PSG and is eyeing an escape route out of Paris and back to England.

The Liverpool Echo says Frank Lampard's side are monitoring the 31-year-old's situation at the Ligue 1 champions and could make a move for the title-winning midfielder.

The Everton manager and his backroom staff want to overhaul Everton's midfield following a disastrous Premier League season that saw them narrowly avoid relegation.

Everton aren't the only Premier League club rumoured to be interested in acquiring Wijnaldum's services for next season with Leicester City, Wolves, and West Ham all said to be considering moves for the former Premier League winner.

There has been some interest from other European countries in the departing PSG star but Wijnaldum is said to be favouring a move back to England.
