Frank Lampard is yet to commit to a new deal at Chelsea.
The Daily Star says the England midfielder is in talks over a new one-year deal to keep him in Jose Mourinho's squad for another season.
Lampard, 35, has spent 13 years at Stamford Bridge in which time he has become the club's highest ever goalscorer despite operating in midfield.
And though he can longer be first choice in all matches throughout the season, boss Mourinho still sees him as a valuable player who can have an impact in the biggest games.
That is why he advised Chelsea to begin talks over a new contract, and now Lampard is taking his time to weigh up his options.
