Frank Lampard is ready to stay with Chelsea with manager Roberto di Matteo having penned a new two-year deal.
The Mirror says Lampard - who missed out on the Euro finals because of a thigh injury - has just one year left on his contract.
He has gone on record to say how he would like to stay at Stamford Bridge and there is no doubt Di Matteo has the management style to bring the best from him.
Di Matteo regards Lampard - along with Terry and Ashley Cole - as key figures in his plans.
And after signing a two-year deal himself, Di Matteo would like Lampard to stay for at least as long as his own commitment.
