Paul Lambert is hoping his Aston Villa side are able to quickly recover from Sunday's 3-0 home loss to Manchester United.
Early goals from Danny Welbeck had Villa on the back foot and they never recovered as they suffered their seventh loss of the campaign and second in a row following last week's 2-0 reverse at Fulham.
With their next league fixture at Stoke City next weekend, Lambert is looking for a change of fortunes for his players after they dropped to 11th on the table.
"The two goals took the wind out of their sails," he told Sky Sports.
"We knew the next goal was vital and we lost that but we never gave up and that was pleasing.
"We try and get results and we will go over it for a number of days but we have to pick ourselves up and bounce back from it."
