Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is confident winning over a doubting support.
The Midlanders lost their first two league games to West Ham and Everton.
Lambo knows a third defeat would leave his youthful squad rock bottom during the international break.
He said: "I have a great belief the young lads can do it. I have no trepidation, none whatsoever. They are hungry and, hopefully, the fans trust me."
Lambert added Middlesbrough defender Joe Bennett, 22, and Chesterfield striker Jordan Bowery, 21, to his ranks this week. And the boss is prepared to throw them in at the deep end.
Lambert said: "I had the same questions at Norwich and those lads surpassed everything. Davie Moyes summed it up when he said it had taken him 10 years to build his Everton side - I've had 10 weeks!"
