Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana is excited to be back in the Premier League.

Lallana saw his team compete in the 2003 FA Cup final before making his debut in 2006 - by which time Saints had suffered Premier League relegation.

He told the Daily Mail: "Excitement is the main emotion obviously.

"We've got a tough pre-season ahead of us, we want to be fit and in as good shape as possible to compete, in what's known as the best league in the world."
