Adam Lallana is confident Rickie Lambert will start scoring for Liverpool.
The 32-year-old has not scored in eight appearances for Liverpool, although Lallana is confident he will soon show the scoring form that persuaded his boyhood club to sign him.
"I still have to pinch myself that we are both playing for Liverpool," Lallana said of the man who came through the leagues with him at Southampton.
"It is a great journey we have been on and it has been difficult for him because he has not had the regular games which he would have at Southampton.
"But I can assure you he is working so hard to get himself back to 100 per cent sharpness. It is coming, he is gradually getting there, and I am sure his first goal is not too far away."
