LaLiga president Javier Tebas has taken aim at Real Madrid counterpart Florentino Perez.

Tebas was speaking out against the European Super League, with Florentino remaining a driving force of the rebel competition.

He said: "I think that in the area of Florentino Pérez they are getting used to constructing a story. They construct a story so that it later appears that this is what happened, no matter what happens.

"It already happened with the general counsel and with other issues that have nothing to do with this: with the world of referees, the story of Real Madrid Television, that they are persecuted... they are building a story. It is handled well by the influencers who have Madridistas, and we will see with what benefits, which should be seen.

"It is a story that they are building that is not going to happen as they say, but they will continue to maintain it no matter what happens, because it is the communication system they have."
