LaLiga president Javier Tebas has taken aim at Real Madrid.

Tebas has rejected complaints from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about the distribution of television money.

He said, “Our clubs, thanks to national television, earn like those of the Premier League. Real Madrid cries a lot for this reason but they shouldn't, because they earn like the Premier League clubs. That's why when it comes to ranking the teams with the highest income in the world, Real Madrid and Barcelona are among the first. I don't know what else they want.

"I've known the Real Madrid president for many years, I've had many meetings with him and I know what he thinks of Spanish and European football. He thinks Real Madrid should no longer play on certain pitches in Spain, because they want to play in a major league.

"The excuse he uses to leave is that LaLiga is very weak and not enough revenue is generated to support the big clubs. In matters of Super League he plays dirty, because he will end up killing national football and he knows it, he's not stupid."
