LaLiga president Javier Tebas can see Gerard Pique competing for the Barcelona presidency.
Pique has announced his retirement this week and Tebas can see him competing against Joan Laporta for the Barca presidency.
Tebas said, "He has three very important conditions to be president of FC Barcelona: he has been at the club for 25 years, he knows the world of football as a player and the sports industry as a businessman.
"He knows that the three are very different, but his experience in the field of his decision-making as a businessman - with his successes and his failures - makes him a great candidate for the presidency of Barça.
"I think he's going to try."
