Michael Lahoud made his first Chivas USA appearance of the season on the weekend and is now looking to make a positive impact for the club.
The 25-year old attacker came on for nine minutes of the Goats' home loss to Chicago Fire, marking his return from a hamstring injury, and now he has got himself fit is looking to contribute to the Chivas cause.
"I think that the next step for me is to just keep moving forward. Now that I took what for me was a big hurdle, for everyone else it was just playing, but now that I'm back on the field, I'm looking to make an impact on the team.
"The quicker that I can get back up, then the more confidence that I have in my body. It's literally just going to be getting through games and doing the little extra things before hand to make sure that I'm ready to go, but whether it's 10 minutes or more minutes this possibly this weekend, I feel like I'm ready.""It wasn't the debut that I wanted in terms of the result, but it was a definitely a massive hurdle conquered by getting back to the field," he told MLSsoccer.com.
