Lacina Traore deal hinges on Everton medical

Everton are waiting on a medical before deciding to push through a deal for AS Monaco striker Lacina Traore.

The Mirror says Everton are waiting for results of scans on a hamstring injury to giant striker Traore, before committing to a loan deal for the Ivory Coast star.

The 23-year-old centre forward, who stands at a colossal 6ft 8in, underwent a medical on Merseyside yesterday, after the Blues agreed a temporary deal with his French club Monaco.

Goodison boss Roberto Martinez is hoping to schedule a work permit tomorrow on Tuesday for the former Anzhi forward, but will first wait for the results of the tests, which he will receive later today.
