LA Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has welcomed Steven Gerrard to Los Angeles.
The 34-year old Liverpool captain completed his much talked about transfer to the LA Galaxy on Wednesday which prompted a video message from NBA ace Bryant on the MLS champions' official website.
Bryant said: "What can I say, man? Welcome to Los Angeles. Welcome to la la land. Hopefully that means bringing another championship to the Galaxy.
"I'm looking forward to getting out there and watching you do your thing.
"I've been a fan of yours for a very, very long time [because of your] versatility and aggressiveness and leadership. Enjoy and kick some ass in the process."
