England ace David Beckham will play for the MLS Allstars in their clash with West Ham United later this month.
Beckham, speaking in a recorded video interview, said he expected a competitive outing against West Ham, the English Premier League club closest to his childhood home in east London.
"I've played against a few of the players before in the Premiership and it's always going to be a tough game," Beckham said.
"They're preparing for the season, it's their pre-season, so they'll be working hard to get their fitness and it will be an interesting game."
