David Beckham insists England can be happy with their 2-2 draw against the Czech Republic in last night's friendly.
Beckham acknowledges England can play better and it is clear they will need to improve their level of performance three weeks tonight when they tackle Croatia in Zagreb.
But the LA Galaxy star can see positive signs as Capello's side twice came from behind to share the spoils.
"We are building towards the qualifiers, and those games start in a couple of weeks, so it was important we didn't lose tonight for confidence.
"We know we can play better and be more of a unit so we will start that hopefully against Andorra and then Croatia.
"Everything is there, everything is right at the moment. We feel we have got the right players in the team.
"We feel we have got the right manager, the right staff behind everyone.
"It is all about getting that confidence up and taking it into these important qualifiers."
Beckham insisted: "We believe we are going to qualify for the World Cup. You've got to believe it but we know there is a lot of hard work to be done and, as long as we work hard as a team and stay together as a unit, we will have a good chance.
"No-one is going to guarantee us qualification but, if we work hard, we've got the players to qualify."
