LA Galaxy are chasing Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The Mirror says Drogba will turn his back on a money-spinning offer from LA Galaxy to finish his career at Chelsea.

LA are one of several clubs trying to lure Drogba to Major League Soccer as the league's next global superstar.

Former England captain David Beckham helped LA win the MLS Cup last week, but is now set for a move to Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires next month.

LA are prepared to give Drogba a deal worth £5million-a-year, while Russian super club Anzhi have also been interested.
