USA are into the final of the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup after beating Honduras 3-1 in the semi-final in Texas.
Juergen Klinsmann's side scored first at Cowboys Stadium with Seattle Sounders striker Eddie Johnson receiving a neat pass from Landon Donovan to take two touches and then fire past Honduran keeper Donis Escobar.
Donovan then became the scorer just before the half-hour mark when he controlled Alejandro Bedoya's rightwing cross with his chest before half-volleying home.
Honduras got one back seven minutes into the second half when Nery Medina headed home Marvin Chavez's free-kick but LA Galaxy ace Donovan, the USA's all-time leading scorer, made it 3-1 moments later when he finished another cross from Bedoya.
The US now await the winner of the Panama v Mexico semi-final as they head to Chicago's Soldier Field for Sunday's final.
