LA Galaxy ace Landon Donovan has been named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 24 of the 2013 season.
The USA international netted a hat-trick as the Galaxy held FC Dallas to a 3-3 draw at FC Dallas Stadium on Sunday.
Donovan scored in stoppage time of the first half before adding goals in the 73rd and 82nd minutes but couldn't guide the Galaxy to a win with Blas Perez netting an equaliser with four minutes remaining.
Matt Hedges had opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Donovan's first goal prior to Perez making it 2-1 three minutes into the second half.
Donovan was voted as the best player of the week by the North American Soccer Reporters and joins Mike Magee, now with Chicago Fire, as the Galasxy players to have been rewarded this season.
