LA Galaxy ace David Beckham admits he thought his career was over after he snapped his Achilles tendon in action for AC Milan last season.
Beckham made his comeback on Saturday in Galaxy's defeat of Columbus Crew.
Becks said: "As positive a person as I am, when I suffered the injury there were doubts that raced through my mind. Like, 'Am I ever going to play again?'
"Those sorts of worries really hit me hard but you just have to forget about them and push on."
