LA Galaxy star Robbie Keane says he has no intentions of announcing his retirement from the game anytime soon.
The 32-year old Republic of Ireland captain this week witnessed former Liverpool, Manchester United and England striker Michael Owen call time on his career, which will occur at the end of this season, but insists that he is nowhere near ready to think about ending his playing days.
"I want to play as long as I can. I look today and see someone like Michael Owen retiring from football, and the two of us came through at the same time," Keane told the Irish Sun.
"I dread the day I have to finish playing because this is my life, and what I love doing.
"As soon as I get the feeling where I don't want to do it anymore I'll quit but I can't see that happening for a very long time."
