Following his team's 1-0 win over Western Conference leaders Houston Dynamo, LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena was happy with the three points.

"I'm happy to say we're up in there with a bunch of teams," Arena said about the Galaxy being part of a cluster of teams near the middle of the standings.

"That's OK. We're not in the worst position. We're not in the best position.

"I think we've improved on the defensive end," Arena added. "We're building. I think we can only get better.

When asked about the return of U.S. International Landon Donovan, Arena said: "Landon gives us another dimension up front.

"I've always said games are won on the defensive end. But when you can add another dimension to a third of the field like Landon does, it only makes us better. I know this team is better than what I saw last August."
