Los Angeles Galaxy are emerging as favourites to land Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

The Reds captain is expected to announce today this will be his last season at Anfield.

The Daily Mail says Gerrard, who joined the club when he was just eight, is wanted by LA Galaxy. He insists no decision has been made.

New York Red Bulls, who employ former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier as their sporting director, will also be in the mix.

Gerrard's availability will alert a number of other clubs in England and abroad, but the former England skipper now has a huge decision to make on his future.
