Former USA international and LA Galaxy star Alexi Lalas suggests the MLS champions are considering signing Omar Gonzalez as a Designated Player.
The former Galaxy president posted on Twitter that he had spoken to current incumbent Chris Klein about the possibility of 24-year old centre-back Gonzalez joining Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan as DP's

Gonzalez, who joined the Galaxy via the 2009 MLS SuperDraft, has recently been linked with a possible move to Mexico but it appears as though he will remain in LA for the foreseeable future.
