AS Monaco are favourites for LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham.

The Daily Mail says Manchester United and Real Madrid legend Beckham is set for talks with Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain about a lucrative move to France once he brings the curtain down on his six-season career at LA Galaxy this weekend.

The 37-year-old will leave the US after the MLS Cup Final against Houston here in Los Angeles and as well as the French interest, he also has to consider big-money offers from the Barclays Premier League, Russia, China and the Middle East as he looks to extend his career.

But it is understood Beckham has agreed to sit down with Monaco officials next week, even though the club are currently playing their football in the French second division.
