Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos insists they won't underestimate Champions League opponents Schalke.
Real are clear favourites for the tie.
But Kroos says: "You won't win anything if you discredit your opponents, no team should do that, not even Real Madrid.
"For many German sides, Madrid are seen as their 'bête noir' for what happened last year but this is a completely new situation and we have to start again from zero."
