Kroos on Real Madrid comebacks: Bernabeu produces something UNNATURAL

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos says there's something "unnatural" about the club's tradition of late fight-backs.

Kroos, 33, has just signed a new 12 month deal for the coming season.

He said: “All comebacks have a lot to do with the psychological. After doing it so many times, trust grows and the team believes in it. You know that if you hold on... football will give you the chance to come back.

"Teammates share the mentality, nobody gives up here. Never. It is always possible. And the opponents already know that we always come back, even if we lose. Until the referee blows his whistle... we'll be there. Last season, for example, it was very evident. A goal or a chance when we are losing can change everything, even against strong opponents.

"Everyone thinks they can get beat, because it has already happened. One goal, the Bernabéu gets back up and they begin to feel enormous pressure. Things happen there that are unnatural."
